These Purchase Terms and Conditions govern the rental of vehicles from Happycampers.no in Norway. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your rental.
1. Rental Agreement
1.1. By renting a vehicle from Happycampers.no, you enter into a rental agreement with us, subject to these Terms and any additional terms specified in the rental agreement.
1.2. The rental agreement is binding upon both parties once the vehicle is picked up by the renter.
2. Eligibility
2.1. To rent a vehicle from Happycampers.no, you must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for the duration of the rental period.
2.2. Additional eligibility requirements may apply based on specific vehicle types and rental conditions.
3. Reservation and Payment
3.1. Vehicle reservations can be made online through our website Happycampers.no.
3.2. Payment for the rental must be made at the time of booking or upon vehicle pickup, using a valid credit or debit card in the renter’s name.
3.3. Accepted payment methods may vary based on rental location and vehicle type.
4. Rental Period
4.1. The rental period begins and ends at the dates and times specified in the rental agreement.
4.2. Any extension of the rental period must be authorized by Happycampers.no and may be subject to additional charges.
5. Use of the Vehicle
5.1. The rented vehicle must be used in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and road traffic rules in Norway.
5.2. The vehicle may only be driven by the renter and authorized additional drivers listed in the rental agreement.
6. Insurance and Liability
6.1. All rental vehicles are covered by compulsory third-party liability insurance as required by Norwegian law.
6.2. Additional insurance coverage options may be available for purchase at the renter’s discretion.
6.3. The renter is responsible for any damages, losses, or liabilities incurred during the rental period, subject to the terms of the rental agreement and applicable insurance coverage.
7. Return of the Vehicle
7.1. The rented vehicle must be returned to Happycampers.no at the agreed-upon location, date, and time specified in the rental agreement.
7.2. Late returns may be subject to additional charges.
7.3 Car shall be cleaned inside and outside before return. If the car has not been washed, a fee of EUR 100 will be charged.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
8.1. Cancellations made within 30 days before the start of the rental period may are eligible for a full refund.
8.2. Cancellations made within 7 days before the start of the rental period may are eligible for 50% refund.
8.2. No-shows and cancellations made later than 7 days before the rental period are not eligible for refunds.
9. Amendments
9.1. Any amendments to the rental agreement, including changes to the rental period, vehicle type, or additional services, must be authorized by Happycampers.no and may be subject to additional charges.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms and the rental agreement are governed by the laws of Norway.
